FIRST LAMA SING THEATER PRODUCTION

Colors to Realms Beyond

“Colors to Realms Beyond” is a play written by Chip McCoull that adapts a beloved series of Al Miner/Lama Sing readings to the stage, coupling Al’s life as a channel with the “Peter Chronicles.”

In 2020, Chip was joined by acclaimed designer Joe Doran to construct an immersive production of this play that employs recently developed projection and lighting technologies. In this production, the audience will travel, fully immersed, with Peter and Al as the story unfolds. Work has begun to develop and produce a trailer. Stay tuned …

November: “Colors” Update

After completing their technical design in late September, Chip and Joe started the process of assembling the production team to “build” each of the computer-generated experiential sequences which will immerse the characters and the audience in each scene’s environment. In November, work began with a visual design programming artist to “render” each sequence.  This designer will work with Chip and Joe to bring animators and programmers on board for the initial “builds” of the play’s immersive experiences.
